THE journey
As a storyteller, creator, and connector whose career has woven together business, sports, and film, but whose true purpose is helping people turn loss into legacy through story and creation. As Co-Founder of MARKD Productions, Kevin works with a creative team known for producing corporate videos, public service announcements, and original films that move audiences and brands alike.
His work has appeared across broadcast and digital platforms, including collaborations with community organizations, film festivals, and industry partners that believe in storytelling with substance. The company's projects of 8 short films to the PSA for Gamblers Anonymous, reflect Kevin’s belief that every story, corporate or personal, can leave a lasting mark.
Before stepping fully into production, Kevin spent over two decades building careers, mentoring professionals, and developing strategic partnerships across the sports and entertainment world.
He hosted a TV and Radio Series, worked with major sport leagues including the NHL, CHL, SPHL and OHL and became known for his ability to bring people together through authentic connection and purpose. Those experiences shaped his professional philosophy: that every meaningful relationship and creative act starts with service and integrity.
But Kevin’s most defining chapter began in loss.
After the death of his son, Kurt, in 2021 (a creative mind who studied video game design), Kevin found himself searching for meaning in the silence that followed. Instead of retreating, he began creating. He started producing, writing, and directing, not as an escape from grief, but as a way to make sense of it.
That process became the foundation of his upcoming book, After Loss, Make Something Real. The movement he now calls Create Forward, a philosophy rooted in the idea that healing doesn’t come from moving on, but from moving with what life gives us.
Through his writing, speaking, and filmmaking, Kevin shares what he’s learned about transformation, creativity, and resilience: that you can’t erase pain, but you can make something real with it.
His mission is to help others do the same: individuals, organizations, and communities who are ready to rebuild identity and purpose through the act of creation. Kevin lives his values through every project he takes on, uniting business, art, and humanity in a way that proves storytelling isn’t just a skill, it’s a form of healing.
Whether he’s producing films, mentoring creatives, or writing about life after loss, Kevin continues to embody his personal mantra: “Create forward. Heal in motion.”
